Wow! Please raise my search prices?

Marketing Vox, a great blog, is citing a Search Engine Marketing Professionals survey for 2007 that highlights this:

– However, a key finding is that as with last year approximately 75 percent said they could tolerate further rises in paid placement prices.

Maybe Google has something with this measurable marketing theme.

Also, given the volume, it would seem like display marketing (though is clearly more pull than push) has some potential in terms of measureable ROI. I see the main challenge as creative — how do I produce valuable creative to move the needle at the top end of the funnel where the difference between a CTR of .20% vs. .35% is clearly self-evident.
